on the 21st of Octorber 2010

super happy i think i've forgotten how to smile properly already :)hahahahaha
well i guess i should blog about how i spent my 21st right?
guess what! :D
i spent it studying/going/doing/studying for exams :)
all in that sequence :p
well...
rina and keith came over in the middle of the night with cake :)
super happy i couldnt sleep so called home
slept
woke up
studied
travelled to city for exam
did exam
WENT FOR DINNER!!! :)
studied til 2am :p
okay dinner was AWESOME :)
keith, rina and i went for JAPANESE! :)
cuz i requested for it :)
and it was rina's farewell dinner too.
so japaneseeeee yummy! the most expensive thing we order that night was shitake mushrooms. 3mushrooms for $3.50 so not worth it!! but it was niceeeeeeee!! ohoh, and the unagi too. expensive but niceeeee!! i tink i'll post the photos up on facebook :)
then after the late dinner that started at 830,
stayed over at keith's place with rina cuz it's easier to get to the city for exams from his place. plus it's cheaper too cuz it's zone1 only travel :p so rina and i studied in the tv room :p very unproductively. and i now conclude that i CANNOT study with people :p cuz i ended up talking to rina almost the entire night and made her not able to study when she wanted to. hahaha but it was nice chatting with her and all :)
and an awesome way to celebrate my birthday :)
to spend the entire day surrounded by the small group of closest friends i've got here in melbourne :)

i've already had the bestest birthday at midnight :)
keith and rina popped by!! :)
although it was meant to be a surprise but due to some unforeseen circumstances, to keep me awake, i was kinda expecting it somehow :p
but nonetheless! :)
they popped by with a cake at my doorstep!! :) :) :)
yay. chocolate cake with a caramel layer and lots and lots of chocolate :) fattening to have a slice in the middle of the night but yummm :)
and that made me happy :)
so happy i couldnt sleep so i called home to make everyone wish me happy birthday even though it still wasnt 12mn yet at home but it was where i am!! :D

went out with serene today! :)
was awesome! :)
she's so beautiful now and so demure already :p heh, i like her shoes :p still rem the times when we used to be unglamly digging up the sand pit in our lousy and peeling alpha teeshirts :p
anyways,
glad her first flight was to melbourne!! :)
finally someone from singapore popping over for a visit even though it's but one day :)
took her out to lygon st since she's heard so much about it and her friends said it was a must visit. so yaaaa. brought her to eat GREEK slovaki! :) i cant believe i finished the ENTIRE slovaki myself while she barely ate half and then later just picked out the chicken... ): FAT.
then brought her to san churros!! where she barely touched her 3churros(spanish donuts) and i actually finished my share of 3churros. omg seriously FAT :p with a hot chocolate as well!
HAHA.
but haha, i had a good time despite my exams starting tmr :p
and it was funny :)
it rained today therefore it was colder x) thank goodness she packed a jacket to sleep in else she'll be stuck in the winterish-spring with nothing to keep her warm!! but anyways, the guy at the san churros place maybe he was bored or smth, held a conversation with us while we were ordering :) and when he found out that serene was only here for a day, he actually gave both of us a chocolate each!! :) :) :) hahaha. although it wasnt very nice, but still! :) free chocolate!! :)

and serene popped out a advanced bday prezzie for me.
didnt want to open it til my birthday but i was excited :p haha opened the card on the train on the way home. then when i got home, i opened the prezzie! and guess what i found!!! :)
